About

Aaron Brokenbough is a filmmaker, writer, and producer whose work is rooted in the transformative power of storytelling to connect, inspire, and amplify diverse voices. With over a decade of experience across commercial, documentary, and narrative projects, Aaron approaches each production as an opportunity to explore untold stories and champion underrepresented communities.

Aaron’s creative journey began at Columbia College Chicago, where he studied television writing and producing. Since then, he has collaborated with visionary directors, innovative organizations, and mission-driven initiatives to craft narratives that resonate deeply. His portfolio includes the short narrative Trading Stories, currently in development, the feature documentary Born/Raised, now in pre-production, and award-winning films such as Is My Living in Vain. His projects also include works focused on marginalized voices, such as Don’t Cry For Me All You Drag Queens and An Endoscopy.

Drawing on a background in journalism, content creation, and transmedia storytelling, Aaron brings a unique perspective to every project. From managing large-scale productions to mentoring emerging talent, he consistently fosters collaboration and innovation. His work reflects a commitment to authenticity, impact, and the belief that storytelling can serve as a bridge—connecting cultures, experiences, and perspectives to create meaningful connections and a shared understanding of the human experience.

Through his dedication to crafting compelling narratives, Aaron continues to build that bridge, one story at a time.
